Glory and Humility

Soft Burn by Rosa Say

This week started with the glory of God and ended with our bowing. All flowed out of His glory toward our humility. In response to His glory, we worship with true hearts, no idols. Our gaze looks up and beyond to our Rock; we entrust all to Him and humble ourselves before Him.

God’s glory ablaze
Strong and mighty, holiness
Bow and worship Him

God’s voice thundering
Powerful and majestic
Strength to His people

Sing praise to the Lord
Give thanks to His holy name
Morning joy has come

Sing praise to the Lord
Give thanks to His holy name
Mourning to dancing

Sing praise to the Lord
Give thanks to His holy name
I’m clothed with gladness

No idols on shelves
No hidden gods in the heart
You alone are God

I trust in You, now
I will rejoice and be glad
While waiting for You

In Your steadfast love
Dancing in Your sweet garden
I am sheltered, free

I trust in You, now
I will say, “You are my God”
Times are in Your hands

No idols on shelves
The LORD preserves the faithful
Be thou my vision

By faith entrusting
Everything I face today
To the Trustworthy

Lifting eyes upward
Gazing on the face of God
Perceiving beyond

Give thanks to the Lord
Praise looks good on His people
Garments of new songs

Listen to His Word
It stands upright and complete
Truth founded in place

Watch the Lord at work
He remains faithful through all
Righteousness revealed

Gaze at the heavens
Created through His wisdom
Stand in awe and bow
