“I am of no use where I am,” because you certainly can be of no use where you are not!
You are more useful than you realize. The simplest act of humility and love is profoundly powerful. A gracious, timely word is a treasure.
Don’t connect usefulness with great acts. In reality, it’s probably the little things that one does that makes him most useful and appreciated.
Don’t compare with others. When we see others do great things, and then compare ourselves with them, we easily conclude we are of little use. Two things can happen when we compare with others. We will either withdraw or put on a mask of phony enthusiasm.
Accept the fact that you might not always see how useful you are. The total impact our acts have on others’ hearts is rarely seen.
Focus on simple acts of aloha.
Love from the inside out.
Never allow this thought—
“I am of no use where I am.”
