Hilina’i (confidence)

“Then Job replied to the LORD: “I know that you can do anything, and no one can stop you. You asked, ‘Who is this that questions my wisdom with such ignorance?’ It is I—and I was talking about things I knew nothing about, things far too wonderful for me.” ‭‭Job‬ ‭42:1-3‬ ‭NLT‬‬

My opinions, preferences

Put to certain death

Certainty in God

Humble response, “My God knows”

All too wonderful

All certainty brings death to something; when I’m convinced my convictions are totally right, I worship my beliefs not you. Lord, help me submit my knowledge and wisdom to you. Everything is more than I think. You can’t be housed in a box or a belief. Keep my eyes and heart open to the wonders of each moment and the depth of your truth.
