“Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God.” Romans 4:20
“So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.” 2 Corinthians 3:18
Unbelief is a great battle. As with Eve in Genesis 3, the enemy comes to make me doubt what God has promised. What do I do? I think I simply need to trust my Lord beyond my understanding. When I do, I glorify him and become stronger in my faith. And, as I treasure my Lord, desiring to glorify him in everything, I am changed more and more into his likeness. So, every choice involves trusting and treasuring him.
Hilina’i means to believe and trust in such a way that you lean and rely on another in whom you have confidence.
Always believing your truth
Treasuring you Lord
Loving you, resting in you
Lord, I trust you today. I entrust everything to you that comes into my life and thinking. May I stand strong against unbelief. I treasure you as well; help me glorify you above all.
